Yes not an ios option
Maybe you can set your preference via your profile/'#sddsf'fetc./chrome/userChrome.css
After deciding to use Firefox to stop the intrusive DOMINANCE of Google, Microsoft, Apple... going back is not an option 🤣
You'd have to build your own version from source — as this is set inside the app code along with relevant OS–level theming of native components… and isn't really configurable unfortunately.

This is unfortunately an unresolved bug in firefix on ios. I reported this also months ago, however, it is still open. See also https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/firefox-ios/issues/27741
