Whenever I do something like delete a message, it stays there for up to 10 seconds before deleting
I click on a message and select anything (Move, delete, etc) it can take up to 10 seconds to perform that requested task.

There is a known bug in TBA v17 where the view doesn't immediately refresh after delete, move & read/unread state changes. I suspect this is what your experiencing.
The bug is fixed in beta v18.0b4. It will be available in the v18 release on app stores soon.
