cannot clear history in firefox 144.0

This is the latest Verify Integrity run and nothing has changed.

have been struggling with this for two weeks and getting nowhere. Seems like a simple question but not getting a solution.

Should I replace Firefox? How do I make this happen - "places.sqlite will be replaced on next startup"

I also have this problem. I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it but the problem hasn't gone away. Regretfully, I have now started to use another browser. Is this some kind of bug? Could the Mozilla people look into it?

I have a similar but not quite the same (maybe) problem. I CAN delete TODAY'S entries and a FEW others from the other time categories, but MOST of those others NO. I see no rhyme-nor-reason for those that I can either be deleted or not deleted. As with rangercarol I have tried everything I know how to do. It makes no sense to me.

I am using Windows 10 with Firefox 146.0.1. This problem seems to have started within the last few weeks.

I also have this problem. Started out when I couldn't load several apps but then discovered on the trail to that solution. My 'clear history' is shaded along with 'recently closed tabs' and 'recently closed windows'. Only 'search history' is active.

Also, I have two computers, both with Firefox default. My problems with not being able to delete history and not being able to open certain Apps have occurred on both within the last three weeks. These computers are not in sync. Could it have been the last Firefox update?
