Firefox for Mac desktop
I update my browser often but still seem to get tons of update alerts. Do you update that often? I wonder if these alerts are a scam so when i get them I go to the Mozilla site and download the latest version. Why don't you just have an "update" button or something is it really necessary to download the whole thing every, what seems like, week?

You should be able to update using
Help > About Firefox
Ref. Update Firefox to the latest release
If in doubt, you can find release notes here:

And yes, there are a surprising number of bug fixes this month.
