Put android firefox bookmarks into alphabetic order

I have firefox on a Windows 10 laptop plus two android phones and two android tablets. The Bookmarks on the laptop, both tablets and one phone are shown in alphabetic order. The Bookmarks on one phone are in random order. How can I make these Bookmarks list in alphabetic order? I have read that I cannot simply reorder the bookmarks, so I probably need to delete the bookmarks, ON THIS PHONE ONLY and definitely not on my other devices. Then would "Sync” import the Bookmarks from "the cloud"? Or would "Sync" export the now-empty "Bookmarks" folder from this phone to the cloud?

Hi

Firefox Sync helps you to sync bookmarks in Firefox across multiple devices - and could really help you here.

While you cannot sort the bookmarks in Firefox for Android, you can can in Firefox on a desktop or laptop computer and then sync them back to Firefox for Android.

I relied for years on Firefox sync to preserve alphabetic order in my Desktop Bookmarks (using Windows 10) when syncing that folder to Firefox for Android on my Samsung Galaxy s10e. But for the past seveal months, while my Desktop Bookmarks remain alphabetized, Firefox for Android has moved "Desktop Boookmarks" to the bottom of the Bookmarks list (showing the contents of "Mobile Bookmarks" folder first in the Bookmarks on the phone)...and now the Desktop Bookmarks are jumbled and in random order. Firefox for Android DOES preserve the alphabetic order of the "Mobile Bookmarks" folder which it now displays first now under Bookmarks on Android.

For me....the whole point of sync is I want the same bookmarks on all devices, in the same (alphabetic ) order. This is no longer possible. If I want them alphabetized on Androi, I have to put an alphabetic list into "Mobile BOokmarks" on my Desktop. But then I am keeping a double set of bookmarks on my desktop and I have to update both sets manually if I want all devices to be current and in alphabetic order. This is a mess. How can I have Firefox for Android resume its prior behavior of preserving the alphabetic order of bookmarks folders and the bookmarks themselves when syncing "Desktop Bookmarks" to Android?
