Recently I tried to allow the Firefox Browser access to the web past the Windows Firewall, but I realized I don't know where it's stored. I've looked up and down my files and I can't find it anywhere; I don't have it as a shortcut. I use it everyday via the taskbar, but I nothing seems to help me find it. Checking the App settings on windows gets me nothing. Right clicking anything relating to it gives me nothing to check its origin

Searching it up anywhere on my File Explorer at most gives me the same 4 BROWSER files, which I'm unsure if are even important IMAGE RELATED (They say they were last modified in 2019, despite me only getting Firefox a few months back)

Ultimately, I'm simply having trouble finding where Firefox is stored on my PC. It works just fine right now

If the Icon is on the Taskbar, you should be able to right-click on the icon in the taskbar which will give you various options including one to launch Firefox. Right-click on that one and choose Properties and it should show you the Target for the executable and the Start-In Directories.

If this is a standard Windows Install, then it should be located at "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"

I right clicked on the Icon in the text bar, and right clicked the button that would start running Firefox, but the only options that gives me are to: run it, run it as administrator, unpin from start, and unpin from task bar

And unfortunately, firefox.exe was not stored where you said it might be. I can not even find a file for anything related to Mozilla. Though I am certain it was a standard windows install

I am sorry for the inadequate information. I would be happy to provide more if asked And sorry for the month's delay. I have been busy and did not notice the notification

Hold down the Shift key while right-clicking on the taskbar icon and choose Properties.

While I couldn't view the properties directly with that method, this allowed me to create a shortcut and view it that way, but both the target type and target reads as "Mozilla.Firefox_n80bbvh6b1yt2!App" (The target locations is "Applications") With my admittedly limited knowledge, this doesn't help me find where it's located. If I am supposed to be able to able to click on "Target", I can not, as it is whited out

I do thank you for getting me a step closer
