Firefox on MacOS Sonoma 14.1
Recently updated both Mozilla Firefox and my MacOS versions and the browser now shows characters on top of each other, or in a weird language. When highlighted, copied and pasted onto another tab, the text shows in english.
What can be done to fix that?

Could be a problem with local fonts that aren't accessible.
In Firefox 119 Fingerprinting protection has been added to Enhanced Tracking Protection in Strict/Custom mode (Suspected fingerprinters) what affects accessing local fonts.
