I opened a large file from our condo, which was supposed to have listing of name, phone etc & after a short period of time Firefox ground to a halt & apparently the big file impacted the Firefox leaving me with a slow (in hours) running system, Clearing MOST of fire fox allows me to run VIVALDI or BRAVE, but nothing compares to FIREFOX, and every time I delete & reinstall FF I have the same dragging system within a day or so. I assume that I must completely delete ALL MOZILLA files to be able to reinstall a clean friefox.

You can create a new profile for Firefox. In the article linked below there are sections telling you how to open the profile manager with Firefox open or closed.
