Thunderbird Profile
I used to backup firefox & thunderbird profile using MozBackup and it saved it as a pcv. When my computer crashed I need to get another motherboard & hard drive and now I seem not to be able to restore my profile using Mozbackup. It says everything was ok but has not restored profile in thunderbird. Can anyone help as there are important emails I need to reply to and with out my old profile I cannot reply.

Rename from a pcv to a zip and use an unzip utility to unzip the backup. Save it to disk somewhere and use the Tools menu to import the profile from another Thunderbird installation. It will need you to restate your passwords afterwards apparently. I just ran into that Bug.
