Trying to log into Facebook but I keep getting prompted for two factor authorisation but FF not FB

Hi, FF browser is asking me to insert my security key when I attempt to log into Facebook. I do have a security key but that has repeatedly failed and I am now blocked. The block is only in FF browser. I can access Facebook normally on other browsers.

This is about the PIN for Windows Hello to authenticate to unlock the passwords. Entering this PIN can be used to unlock the passwords stored in Firefox if you do not use the Primary Password.

Make sure you have the correct password for Facebook stored in Firefox, if necessary you can edit a wrong password.

Hi,

Thanks for the info. It turned out to be that FB were undergoing maintenance and seemed to be the cause of the problem. This morning all is as expected and able to access FB normally.
