I use Ubuntu 14.04 version, and I recently updated firefox manualy, an it says that it is updated, but when i check in the About firefox section it says that it is still on version 66. And i can't use firefox anymore because it crashes constantly. But it is updated. How can i fix this?

You appear to be using Firefox 66 from the Ubuntu repositories, so it is possible that newer versions aren't supported by your distro.
