After a windows 10 update, windows 10 will not let me update or open the mozilla vpn. When I select the update button, the message 'preparing to install' appears. Next I have a message that the windows installer is updating. The progress bar travels halfway, then disappears. I receive the message 'Background Error.' I was able to send one message to the VPN people, but this was last week. I've heard nothing. The 'help' symbol disappeared from my Mozilla screen. Any recommendations will be appreciated. Thanks, Tom

thank you for posting on the forum!

Unfortunately we had a problem regarding this after our last update, we apologize for the inconvenience!

Try logging out of Mozilla VPN (you can do this by clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner of the app. Then scroll down to "Logout"), uninstall the app, download the VPN again, and follow the steps to install it. Logging off is an important part of the process, as it deletes some files that would otherwise not be eliminated.
