firefox updates
hello, I use firefox since many years, with ubuntu, but each time a new update is installed, my firefox forgets my settings, it reinstalls american english instead of french, I feel this very very annoying. I hope the developpers will find a way !

it would be a good idea to disable the auto update feature in your FF
This shouldn't happen when you update.
You appear to be using Firefox from the Ubuntu repositories, so you probably need to check their support.
It is possible that Firefox from the repositories behaves differently than Firefox from the Mozilla server. You can try Firefox from the Mozilla server to see if that makes a difference.
