VPN Tunnel Feature?

more options

Does VPN have a "tunnel" feature so that it does not have to be disabled for apps which do not allow access to their product when a VPN is active? I currently use IPVanish and it does allow me to designate certain apps to not use the VPN even though it is active (such as Amazon, Hulu, Netflix, etc.).

Hi there,

Thank you for asking this question!

Mozilla VPN has a Split Tunneling feature which lets you choose which apps to connect to the VPN while allowing other apps to connect directly to the Internet without protection. Unfortunately this is only available for Android phones at the moment. We have received a lot of feedback about this already and are working on adding this feature for more devices soon.

Best, Mags

This is making the vpn irritating to use.... I need to shut off vpn to upload an email message. I hope it's fixed quickly, before my vpn trial expires. My gmail works fine with it, so it must be doable. I use Thunderbird.

Thanks for the info! Any updates on split-tunneling with the (Windows) desktop app?
