Hi jam, you should not be forced to use Bing, your choice of default search engine should be retained. After you switch the default search engine setting to your preferred search engine on the Options page -- see [[Change your default search settings in Firefox]] -- what happens: * it works until the next time you exit/restart Firefox * it works for a while and then changes back to Bing * it can't be changed * it doesn't matter what it says, you always get your results on Bing That will help in identifying next steps.
