Good afternoon, I'd like to know whether Mozilla Thunderird allows the user to mention people (one of the people who are going to get the email) in the email body. In Outlook you do this by using @ and the name of the person you want to mention. Is there an Add-In or some shortcut that allows me to do that in Thunderbird too? Thank you so much in advance for your help! Anna

If only mentioning the name then just type the name. If you want to include their personal email address then I would have to say make sure to have their permission. Whilst they might be one of the recipients of the email, they may not want their personal data being included in a generic email sent to other people.

You could use the 'Contacts 'Sidebar' (to enable 'View' > select 'Contacts sidebar' or use F9 key to toggle the view) to drag and drop a contact plus email address into the content area. It is created as a clickable mail to link.
