Hello there,

I recently installed FF on a new machine and came across a behaviour that I didn't experience on my old computer.

After exiting fullscreen video (e.g. on YouTube, but also any other site), regardless on what tab it is played in, FF always jumps to the first tab. It does this in normal mode as well as in safe mode, so I'd think it's not related to any add-ons. This only stops when I disable PiP controls - a function I'd like to use.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Or is it just me not fully understanding the principle of PiP?

Thanks!

HG

You should still be able to open a PiP window via the right-click context menu in the player area if you would have to disable the PiP controls.
A PiP window is a standalone window without any chrome that you can resize.

If you use the YouTube player in Full Screen mode then you won't be able to use PiP mode, so can you clarify that you click the full screen icon on the player.
