It is not possible to reorder or drag to move tabs around in the new design. It may be a added as a feature in the future.

Was just force upgraded to this new version and amazed you can't do this. Wonder what else was left out, hope I don't have to switch browsers.

I like the rearranging aspect as well. That and the better read mode was the main reasons why I switched over from Chrome. And now that this is gone, and the read mode is a bit glitchy (e.g. when I click the book icon by the website, it just turns into a blank white page), I might have to find an alternative :(

Why does the app have to sort tabs automatically when it was really easy for the user to sort it themselves? I had all my tabs sorted by genre. Like i had all my music venue calendars in a section that was really easy to reference all at once. I'm curious how this is better because i am trying to understand. Maybe the functionality was a casualty of a necessary code update, but whatever the case, bring it back please

Totally! It's driving me crazy! Right now the new update reminds me of the newest Opera (incredibly much), except with Opera one can still move tabs... and Opera has the snottiest customer support on the planet.

Please allow us to sort our tabs again!

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why do they keep changing the UI! Mozilla should only add new things and not taking stuff out just because one person doesn't use it! I'm using Firefox for a very long time now....but this is the dumbest change they ever made! Moving a tab backwards in the row so you can "save" it for later use is the best way of browsing. Saving it as a bookmark and needing to find it later in all you bookmarks is crap!

I have to agree. I'm still using Firefox since their update, but I'm still just as frustrated with not being able to move tabs (as well as folders, etc. It all just seems backwards.) And seeing me frustrated with my browser is not a pretty sight.
