Unified inbox is not working in TBird 60.0
After I upgraded Thunderbird to 60.0 I no longer see a unified inbox.
View->Folders->Unified is selected. I can expand the Inbox and see messages for each account but nothing is displayed when I select the unified inbox.
My problem is similar to what is reported at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1213027 but I can't carry out his solution.

I resolved this issue by following the instructions at:

I deleted the 'smart mailboxes' directory in the Mail directory of my profile. When the smart mailboxes were regenerated I once again was able to see a unified inbox.

Vincent, thanks for updating your post with the resolution that worked for you. It helped me out.
After postponing upgrading Thunderbird (from 52.6) for a long time, upgrading to TBird 60.3 led me to find Vincent's post (as I experienced a similar "empty unified inbox" - while individual account inboxes listed emails within) AND as I was unable to display the "Edit Saved Search Properties for Inbox" dialog box from the 'Properties' of the context menu of the Unified Inbox (it displayed the same "Folder Properties" dialog box as for individual account inboxes), I was unable to use the https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1213027 suggested solution (as I had numerous times before when my unified inbox would misbehave).
This initially lead me to believe that I had to use a "new way of doing things in TBird 60.X and beyond" when I read about "global inbox" in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/unify-your-pop-email-accounts-global...
I was able to resolve my problem using the same "delete the 'smart mailboxes' sub-directory suggested in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1047937 (to the 'Mail' directory found in the 'Help' -> 'Troubleshooting Information' page - now under 'Application Basics' -> 'Profile Folder' 'Open Folder' button).
