Maybe the button label should be changed from "Use Current Pages" to "Use Current (non-pinned) Tabs"? ;-)

Is same in 59.0.1 (64-bit)

Pinned tabs have never been included in the home pages. That was a way to prevent Firefox from including the about:preferences page by pinning this page. You can unpin the tabs to add them via the add pages button or otherwise add them yourself via a pipe (|) symbol.

That would make it a rather big button

Anyway, you likely won't be able to open included pinned tabs as pinned tabs and if that was possible then you will get another set of those pinned tabs each time you click the home button. Pinned tabs are a fixed part of the current window (a new window doesn't inherit pinned tab, but does open the home page(s)).
