For the last week every time I restart Firefox it tries to restore my previous session. In some cases with an error message and in some cases straight to the last session.

I have the configuration set to start-up blank page. I've also tried to refresh Firefox but the issue continues to occur. This is not limited to 1 computer and I've noticed the same issue on another computer not synced or related.

Both systems, windows 10, current patch levels.

Thank you

John

Are you using CCleaner?

If that is the case then disable clearing Sessions in the CCleaner settings.

CCleaner is the problem, unchecking 'sessions' in the cleaner worked for me.

We have seen reports that CClceaner has changed its settings and possibly has a problem with the new compressed .jsonlz4 format used for the session files, so make sure that sessions isn't included for Firefox.

Error Screen, "Unable to restore previous session" it then has check box with sessions open to restore or close.

Thank you for the suggestions. I am using CCleaner and will uncheck the "sessions" box and let it run for a few days and come back with an update
