When I click on the icon on the computer screen; it immediately goes to the system tray at the bottom of the screen and will not go to full screen, when I click on it. I have tried reinstalling the program again without success. I'm running Windows 10. Is there a solution to this problem? Thx in advance. CB

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/changes-toolbars-and-window-sizes-are-not-saved You may have corrupt xulstore.json or Localstore.rdf file.

Close Firefox. Open your file browser to this hidden location:

  • Mac: *~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles
  • Linux: *~/.mozilla/firefox/Profiles
  • Windows: %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
  • *C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

Search for the above files. Then rename or delete them. Restart Firefox.

Start Firefox normally. I take it from your description the Firefox window is not appearing where you can see it.

Right-click the Firefox icon and select Open In New Window.

After that window opens, Close the first window using its icon. Right-click that icon and select Close Window.

You should be all set.

That did not work. The same thing happened to the new window.
