Can not upload files to my web site. Latest Fried Fox won't - IE does no problem.
I am trying to upload audio files (MP3) to my web site. Every time FireFox updates, it will not allow uploading, it just stays in an endless uploading loop. I have to use Task Manager to escape the loop.
I am using Net Solutions website builder tool. FireFox has worked well up until about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I used IE and it works flawlessly. ???

Tried two computers - Win10 and Win7.
I refreshed FireFox browsers on both computers last week and got it to work, but that is a PIA, and I would rather switch permanently now to Chrome or IE if this is going to continue to be an issue with FireFox.
Thank you, John Champlain

What happens when you try? Any error messages?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
Is the problem still there?
Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?

Problem solved. FireFox in safe mode worked well. Will use method from now on. Thanks very much. John
Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes). If the problem goes away, that tells us one thing. If it does not, that tells us something else.
It could be the work of one of your add-ons. Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac=<Command>)<Shift> A)
In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Disable a few add-ons, then Restart Firefox.
Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.
If the problem continues, disable some more (restarting FF). Continue until the problem is gone. After, you know what group is causing the issue. Re-enable the last group ONE AT A TIME (restarting FF) until the problem returns.
Once you think you found the problem, disable that and re-enable all the others, then restart again. Let us know who the suspect is, detective.
Thanks. Problem was/is UBlock Origin ad blocker. Disabling it corrects my uploading issue. Thanks much. All the Best, John
Glad to help. Safe Surfing.
