I tested the Quick Filter option and I find it not useful at all unless all emails are in the same folder. Personaly, I have lots of folders to organize my messages.

I would like to see emails flagged with a star. Even if I Quick Filter the emails, the problem I have is that my starred messages are in many folders. I have to click on each folder to see the email with a star. Same thing for Unread messages.

I would like to have a link on the left (like Inbox, Drafts, Sent...) and that would find all the emails in all the folders that are flagged with a star. And another link for the unread messages.

If that would be possible to extand these options so we could see all the unread messages from ALL accounts in the same view WITHOUT having to click on an account, filter the messages, click on the other account and filter the messages. Same thing for the Starred messages... from all accounts.

thanks

quick filter toolbar is for searching mail in the current folder.

Try using the search in Ctrl+Shift+F and saving the search results as a folder, but again you will be limited to a per folder view.

Alt+V for the view menu. Select message and have a look at the options there.

Alt+V and in toolbars select folder pane On the now visible folder pane toolbar check up the unified view of folders as well the unread and unread compact view.
