CANNOT CLEAR THEME
I looked through the FAQ but could not find the answer to clear theme. I do not want a theme. I pressed the menu bar the faq said that it would give option for addons and appearance but it did not. So how do I get rid of a theme. Please let me know. George

I am guessing that you are referring Remove extension Plugins and themes from Firefox link in your question . IF not then go through it once.
However Removing theme from firefox is pretty easy as follow these steps :
- Menu > Addons (or type about:addons in url and hit enter key .) > From left panel select Appearance > select theme from right panel > either click on remove (permanently removal from your firefox ) or disable (temporary disabling to load).
Once done restart Firefox to see the changes .

Switch to the default theme.
I needed more precise instructions. To get to the default theme option one must first click on menu bar then click customize. Then one sees the options in the left pane. ( Got to show me, I'm from Lower Slobovia) Thanks for the reply George
My version of browser does not work as described after clicking on menu bar. In menu I must click on CUSTOMIZE then in left pane it shows the desired options. The changes take place immediately. People like me evidently require more step by step instructions. Thanks for responding. George
