Sending of message failed. No recipients were specified.
Updated Thunderbird from 16.02 to 38 on XP Pro also using BirdieSync with Android.
Box pops up: "No recipients were specified. Please enter a recipient or newsgroup in the address area." See attached.
When I removed Thunderbird & reloaded 16.02 and used MozBackup to restore settings it works fine.
Please advise?

Using mailing lists?
Yes sir, I have many mailing lists contained within about 40 address books. I also use Lightning and and some Mozilla approved add-ons.

It is the mailing lists that are causing issues and if your happy with 16 you should probably stay there a bit longer as I am not sure all the bugs in address list handling have yet been ironed out.
