After update - Thunderbird completely changed.
After I installed the latest update - Thunderbird has completely crapped out.
1) I have to open my inbox in a seperate tab now to view my messages. 2) I can no longer write new messages or open my address book. 3) I can no longer check to see which version of Thunderbird I am using or check for updates.

Press F8 to turn the Message Pane back on.
Press the alt key to make the Menu Bar show up. From the Menu Bar select View-Toolbars and turn the missing toolbars back on.
