I can't get back to home page after opening email.
Since last update, once I open an email, there is no X to close that email without deleting it and return to my Thunderbird home page. And If I do delete it, that just brings up the next open email. The escape key doesn't work, nor do any other keyboard shortcuts I can think of. If I quit Thunderbird and reopen, it brings up the same email I can't get out of. I am running on a Mac. Please help.
