When CABLEONE.NET switched from Google mail to another service, I was not able to retrieve my mail folders, which are important. How can I get them back??!!

I have Thunderbird 31.7. When CABLEONE.NET changed from Google mail to another service, my mail folders that I have created to keep important emails, no longer appeared. They are there, because I can access them through cableone on the web, but I don't like this.

However, if I cannot get my mail folders to appear, I will stop using Thunderbird.

The support technician said this was a problem for quite few people.

Please resolve this and let me know how to get my mail folders to appear. Thank you,

You may delete all the stuff about printers and fonts, but please leave everything else intact.

Gmail uses IMAP by default, which makes folders visible. If the new arrangement uses POP then only the Inbox is exposed to email clients.

Cableone uses IMAP for the new email server. However, a Cableone Technician had me create another email account, using POP for the server. This resulted in the loading of all my INBOX emails and the loading of all my folder emails into my INBOX.

The problem is going through all my emails, recreating the folders and then finding the emails that go into the folders. This will take an inordinate amount of time.

This process has already costs me a substantial amount of time and I have other things I have to do.

Do you have any other recommendations, other than uninstalling Thunderbird and reinstalling it?
