I have configured my 2 official mail id's in my Thunderbird. When i am forwarding an email from one of these, content of the tail mail automatically removes. While replying on same mail content of tail mail remains there. This is happening with many of users in my office. While from other mail everything goes fine while forwarding or replying.

I have checked and found settings are same for all my accounts. I also have tried to reconfigure that particular account but the problem still the same. The content when i forwards any messages didn't comes as tail messages of that forwarded message. But when i replies it shows the content as tail mail. I added one more account but settings working fine for that account also but didn't working for account number 2 as you can see the settings attached.

Is it only mail from a particular sender, or company?

Those settings do look correct. I would look in the Config Editor and make sure those settings actually registered.

From the Menu Bar select Tools-Options_Advanced-Config Editor Enter reply into the search field.

You should see several entries like mail.identity.xxx.reply_on_top The xxx will be default, id1, id2, etc and the value for on top is 1

If you see the wrong value in the account that is not working you can right click that line and select Modify to change the value to match the working accounts.

If your menu bar with Tools is not showing, press the alt key to make it appear.
