I have no add device button for sync.
Exactly that. I created an account and signed in, but I don't have any add device button in sync on my Macbook Pro.

hello trione1, i don't know where you read about the "add a device" button but that was likely referring to the old sync system used before firefox 29 which is now outdated. now on a new device that you want to connect to sync go to the firefox menu ≡ > options > sync, click on the Sign In link and enter the credentials of the account you have set up.
