Slow speed can be caused by a number of things, so we will approach this with a sort of shotgun tactic and hope something helps :) Don't worry, all of these things are fine for your computer, and even if they don't help this particular issue they will help other problems: * Scan for Malware ([[Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware]]). Malware can cause all sorts of computer problems, and it isn't always easy to tell if you are infected already or not * Update your graphics driver ([[Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL]]). Having out of date graphics drivers causes all hosts of performance issues, so this is always a good one. * Update Windows itself (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/features/windows-update). Do this a few times until all updates are applied, and also look in the Reccomended section for anything called "Update for Windows 7". Don't install stuff like Bing Desktop though ;) * Check your hard drive for errors (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/check-a-drive-for-errors).
