When I click on menu button, download button, or bookmark button, the popup does not rendered (invisible, but clickable)..
I can see bookmark, download, and menu button. But when I click pop up/tooltip doesn't appear.

I have tried the following:
- Disable all extensions and plug-ins
- Reset Firefox
- Rebuild (delete) places.sqlite
- Uninstall with 'remove all preference'
Only thing that worked is start in Safe Mode. http://i.imgur.com/tMF6B2t.png
But as soon as I start with normal mode (for extensions), it disappear again.
Any suggesstion would be greatly appreciated. :)

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

It seems either my video card or driver don't work together well. The fact that the menu was invisible but clickable lend itself toward this.
The solution by FredMcD did not solve my problem right away, but I'm glad I get to kill it before it becomes a problem. :)
