The messages do not show in the email folders. it happened after I tried to delete some folders I didn't need. The folders have an icon next to them that lists the number of messages in the folder. When opened, most of the folders say "No message found."

No new emails appear to have been downloaded since 12.00 GMT on 27.01.26.

Size of file on disc suggests they are there but not displaying.

Downloads working fine on iPhone and iPad.

Je viens de constater tout récemment plusieurs choses qui me gênent : 1) je ne vois plus apparaître la commande "insérer" pour insérer une image dans un texte 2) quand j'enregistre un message pour le sauvegarder je ne vois que le texte du message, mais plus les entêtes (adresses e-mail, date, etc.). Hello, I have been using THUNDERBIRD for many years and I am very satisfied with it. In fact, I contributed to donations during the previous year. I have just recently noticed several things that bother me: 1) I no longer see the "insert" command appear to insert an image into a text 2) when I save a message to save it I only see the text of the message, but no longer the headers (e-mail addresses, date, etc.). I have been using Tbird for years. I currently have 3 email accounts, an icloud and two gmail. One gmail account is personal, the other is a personal account but used by 3 people for a committee we're on. The first two accounts are ok but the committee account has lost most of its messages at gmail, but they still seem to be on my computer.

Despite having used T'bird for a long time I still need detailed instructions in how to proceed to put the messages back onto the gmail account, hopefully without touching the other two accounts

Messages that I have moved to Archive have totally vanished. A message which I needed to keep I found in 'deleted'. I then moved it to Archive - and it vanished altogether. I do not feel in control of this new Thunderbird! Please, is there any way of getting this message back?

I use the Thunderbird calendar in version 147.0.1. The calendar syncs with CalDav and works great. Although when the reminder pop-up appears i am not able to snooze (postpone) an event or delete na event. Nothing happens and the reminder keeps popping up every 5 minutes (as in the settings) untill the event has passed. Even worse, when i enable show missed missed events, i cannot even delete the old events in the list.

Greetings: Running TBird desktop with email provider Fidei. The email portion works fine (can send & rcv emails)...but upon accessing any of the other features, like Calendars or Lists...the content appears for a moment, then the Login dialog pops & my content for that feature goes blank. I'm providing (what I believe are the correct credentials) but it appears not to accept them...popping again. Are there separate credentials I should be providing for the other features of TBird? It didn't used to behave this way. Thanks in advance for any feedback/guidance. Ed in Tampa

Using FireFox browser

I have been trying for days now to set up my Homail account into Thunderbird. It shows it there, but doesn't download any messages.I have tried every way I can to set it up, but, no joy. I even downloaded a programme suggested on Firefox, but that didn't work either. I also cannot find where to check the SMTP connections. I haven't had any problems with my Gmail accounts, they went straight in.

On first start of Thunderbird in the unified inbox there are sometimes empty messages listed with date of 1/1/1970 01:00.

When I click on any of them to view message, they always just blank empty body with no subject or sender. If I click on any other inbox, then go straight back to the unified inbox, the blank messages have gone.

I recently upgraded from v140-ESR to v147-Release and thought it may stop happening, but it still occurs sometimes.

Doesn't seem to be doing any harm but it's strange behaviour nonetheless, so thought I'd see if anyone else has experienced this or what you guys think could be causing it.

About a month ago my Filter log no longer works, the box is checked to show the filter log. I wasn't too concerned at first but know I noticed some of my good email are being deleted and I can't see what filter is triggering it to stop it. How do I get to log to start showing again?

I recently updated the computers at my shop. My shop uses an older program Mitchell 1 to process and organize invoices. I have used Thunderbird to email invoice pdfs for the longest time but now after updating I get “ERROR SENDING EMAIL. MAPI RETURNED -2147467259” it’s my understanding MAPI is outdated but I figured Thunderbird would still support this function.

I have three different email accounts. In my main gmail account, if I double-click on a template, it opens up in a new email with the content of the template already in there (which is how I want it to behave.) In my other two accounts, double-clicking a template just opens a new tab with the contents of the template displayed, as it would if I double-clicked any email in my inbox.

I've been through the settings, comparing them for all three accounts, and I can find no difference anywhere. Right-clicking on the Template folder offers no obvious path to follow, nor does right-clicking on the template itself.

Any ideas why the difference in behavior, and/or suggestions on how to change the not-gmail account so it behaves the same way as the gmail account (double-click opens new pre-filled email) ??

my problem started when I got greedy and highlighted too much mail in gmail for deletion. There was warning but I wasn't worried about the time but that was 2 days ago Now when I open thunderbird it comes up twice but 1 not responding in task manager. I have deleted the programme twice but when the new install tries to open it's the same thing. I have 7 or so accounts and thunderbird works fine for me. I bought a copy of office from microsoft but the outlook didn't open the pst file(not happy) but I am happier with thunderbird. as I used it many years ago Any help suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am in Aus btw
