I lost all bookmarks overnight and the Bookmarks tab is completely empty. I have located the latest JSONL24 backup file and tried to import it via the Firefox General Tab setting; however, the file does not show up in the Import Browser Data route. In fact, the C: directory as seen through this window is quite different from the actual C: directory. What am I doing wrong? Are there any other way to restore the bookmarks using the JSONL24 file?

Guten Tag, Ich nutze 4-5 Fenster, je nach Anwendungsumfeld, dauerhaft. Die Fenster beeinhalten meistens die jeweiligen Log-Ins in den einzelnen Tabs. Aus irgendwelchen Gründen sind alle meine eingerichteten Fenster verschwunden. ich habe versucht, über die Wiederherstellung der letzten 7 Tage meinen bekannten Stand wiederherzustellen. Da wurden mir ca. 750 Tabs angeboten. Der Versuch meine Fenster/Tabs zu finden war schier unmöglich. Also habe ich versucht alle! wiederherzustellen um manuell den Stand meiner Fenster zu rekonstruieren. Hat nicht bzw nur teilweise funktioniert. Können sie mir helfen meine Fenster mit den entsprechenden Tabs von vor 3-4 Tagen wiederherzustellen?

My bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar have disappeared, I can no longer save a bookmark anywhere. Some of my bookmark folders have disappeared. I have tried restoring but I get the message "unable to process backup file"even after importing the file from my other laptop using both HTML files and .json files. I tried refreshing firefox, that didn't help. I uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it with the same results. Never had a problem with firefox before, but it's useless now! Can anyone help?

Laptop Windows 10. Firefox/Mozilla ask me to update. Did that 3 hours ago. Cannot find my History and Bookmarks from prior update. I have restarted my laptop since but still nothing... Can you please help?

Moi Drodzy pozdrawiam Was Mam wielką prośbę ostatnio byłem zmuszony przywrócić windows 11 z kopii zapasowej i bardzo byłem zdziwiony gdy przy uruchamianiu Waszej przeglądarki wyskoczyło mi okno logowania niestety założyłem u Was to konto bardzo dawno posługując się u wczesnym adresem " condor5@wp.pl " na tomiast w obecnej chwili zastosowałem mój aktualny e-mail " condorhk9@gmail.com " i co się stało : otóż po zalogowaniu ku mojemu zaskoczeniu przeglądarka ukazała mi się w szarych odcieniach a co gorsza cały zasób moich cennych dla mnie zakładek figuruje tam gdzie powinien być ale jest nieaktywny.Czytałem Wasze poradniki ale problem jest chyba innej natury bo jak wspomniałem to co jest szare (stare) jest nieaktywne natomiast można korzystać z pola adresowego i przeglądarka działa.Bardzo mi zależy na tych zakładkach one tam istnieją ale przy próbie ich przywrócenia pojawia się komunikat """ Nie udało się przetworzyć pliku kopii zapasowej. """" Proszę Was o pomoc.

My bookmarks are not showing up. Firefox shows a message that some Firefox files are being used by another program, or something like that. I have refreshed Firefox numerous times, and the same thing happens each time I try to use Firefox now. This has been happening for over a month. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox multiple times.

Today I was suprised to see that my shortcuts were deleted so i tried to fix it, but instead i somehow deleted my profile which had everything, is there a way to bring it back?

Firefox lost all my passwords and bookmarks, not in any of only 3 profiles. Now it won't enter new passwords and Mozilla/Firefox support not working. I don't know if this is even being entered

My geeksquad agent dumped me here. They were not able to fix the issue. My tools are not all on the bar, my book marks are not all here. They got some. There was a message that some other application was using my firefox and my tools and bookmarks wouldn't work. I am no tech person. I just want things back like they were and to know why this happened and I don't want it to happen again. Please help.

I accidentally messed it up when trying to remove the desktop icon because I already set Firefox in my taskbar. Now I get an unfamiliar screen and my settings, including bookmarks, are gone. Is it possible to set my laptop to undo changes made today?

I've been annoyed recently to see the Firefox symbol on both my Desktop and in the taskbar and finding that there are two in the taskbar when I open one. The bottom line is that I seem to have completely obliterated Firefox as I'd had it set up! Can I restore my Firefox settings to where they were yesterday?

All bookmarks and history lost. Have spent over 2 hours following the steps outlined as a standard treatment for this problem, attributed to another program interfering with Firefox Profiles or bookmarks. Restarts of Firefox and PC failed to restore, Going to Bookmarks>Manage Bookmarks fails because when you get to the Library window for Import or Restore and select profile (I show 3 right now, all tagged as .default), there is no way in the window to accomplish a restore. You can insert a profile in the open window but there is no way to activate the restore function. Likewise when I accessed the list of 15 prior bookmark files I had the same result with the restore window. The instructions do not make any sense to me. Need somebody to contact me directly and walk through problem via phone call.

Since accidentally deleting my current firefox profile, I have been experiencing a multitude of problems: Firstly, if it's possible to recover my profile file, that would fix all my problems. I currently have disk drill installed on my computer, so if there's any way to recover it please let me know. If that isn't possible, there are a few issues: 1: the top 3 buttons being shifted to the right (image 1 is what it looks like now, image 2 is what it used to be) 2: the color of the toolbar affected how other websites look(image 3) 3: all extensions being removed, though this was probably due to the deletion of the profiles

I need a more permanent fix to the disappearing bookmarks issue when the file is in use by another entity. I have tried to fix it, read the instructions and when I start to apply the fix, the instructions disappear and now I have to depend on my faulty memory.
