I recall that Firefox used to log-in automatically to websites that require a user name and/or password. This helpful feature seems to have been removed, even for sites … (kàsi)

I recall that Firefox used to log-in automatically to websites that require a user name and/or password. This helpful feature seems to have been removed, even for sites that are listed in the "Passwords" display. How can I get it back?
