After Fire Fox does an upgrade for the next 3 to 4 days I cannot connect to web sites that circle just keeps spinning. Sometimes after about 20 to 30 minutes it might connect but then all I get is blank pages. Unfortunately I'm stuck with windows 10 for a while longer. Have tried most of the solutions refreshed 4 times and even reinstalled 3 times but doesn't change anything. Any ideas? Thanks

When I select one (or more) people from my email contacts in the dropdown list of BT Mail, the address(es) appear as "invalid" or "illegal" in the "To:" field. This has only happened since the last update to Firefox. This does not hapen with other browsers, so why should I be forced to change, just to send emails? It is a real PAIN. Having done a bit of research, it appears that there is Javascript issue. When can I expect a patch? I have enjoyed everything Firefox gives me, but this issue is giving me cause to consider moving

I used to have a blank space on the tool bar where I could search for new pages or information. Trying to find and reinstall on "Customize the Toolbar" was not successful. I have 13 items on the toolbar, and at times going to the >> would open a space to type my search. Now does not work. What do I need to do to have it back. I have not added more items to the tool bar. This space seems to have disappeared. Thanks in advance for your help to resolve this issue.

I was having problems with overlays and somehow got to a page that allowed me to turn off overlays....I ignored the warning about some sites would not work properly and turned it on....now most sites do not work properly. I cannot find the page in setting to turn overlays back on. i have uninstalled and reinstalled with no results. I cannot find the page even on my other computers that i did not mess with. Where do i go to turn that switch back on?

i already tried to delete the cookies and cache, but 1 user is still muted for no reason and everyone/everything else works fine, so is there something wrong with the browser ?

i basically got like 2-3 completely different users muted for no reason, but at the moment i can only remember 1 of them and noone else has been added to the bug list ever since... and it basically happened when the Firefox itself got really low on memory again and started to display that red crash button. and even then, many different users crashed, but some did not even get the sound back anymore, while others did with no issue....

ps. i also found the other streamer now and both of them i was following, so that is also really weird, plus i havent noticed anyone else getting muted again, so maybe its just the ones that i followed ??? (and during the red crash button then)

Morning.....I subscribe to PennLive.com (part of the Patriot News group in PA) and have a paid subscription. For several years, there were no ads with a paid subscription. I also have set up on Firefox a custom anti-tracker which blocks cookies, ads and the like. it works on most sites. However, on Penn Live I am getting all sorts of ads jumping around many of which are just plain gross. Ads for belly and arm fat (with pictures), drinks for brain health etc. How do I fix this? What other protections do I need to add on Firefox? This needs to stop and contacting Penn Live has not made a difference. Thanks.

I have no bookmarks on my firefox home page; CCleaner removed them. I have since stopped using CCleaner, but I'm trying to restore the home page bookmarks. I see the "+" sign, and when I click it, a box form opens. I enter the site name and URL, and click submit, but nothing is created. I have rebooted and tried many times, but the add button does not do anything. I only want 5 or 6 links, but I can't even place one.

at shell:startup on windows i will open firefox two times (first for multimedia like tv-stream and maston, second for "working activities" like webmail, office online).

How can i open by file explorer link (like in shell:startup) a new tab (newspaper) everytime in instance "first" even if i was using second at last?

I am happy that FF has added great PDF capabilities. I have a problem with signatures. When I add my signature as an image, the result is a very poor resolution / quality signature image. Adobe Reader inserts the signature as a very high resolution / quality image.

Is there any update / solution to this? FYI I am using the same signature image but FF makes it BW and poor quality while Adobe Reader maintains the color and resolution.

HP INTEL LAPtop: Windows 11 Fails two sequential video mp4 links using basic html Video code

Works in iphone firefox,safari,opera,PC Edge but NOT PC firefox.

1st link good 2nd fails ERROR MSG no video with supported format and mime type found. Also had same problem in Windows 10 last year. This on an HTML 4.01 we site.

After updating my primary email address, I noticed that I wasn’t receiving the newsletter I’m subscribed to. When I checked my subscription settings, I saw that the email address on file for the newsletter was still the old one, and I couldn’t change it. I’d like to update the newsletter’s email address to my current primary email address. How can I do this? (The screenshot shows my current primary email address and the email address on file for the newsletter—they don’t match, and I can’t change the one on file.)

I paid for a service that I now found is offered by you for fre.e. Why should I continue to support Firefox? What are you doing for me that is supposed to engender loyalty? Are you joining the litany of big companies purporting to be trustworthy and supportive of those of us who don't want to be lied to? Want to earn my trust? Refund my money ... or that trust will be forever destroyed. Please advise when you will refund my money? Thank you. False advertising is not the way to cultivate trust. Years and years, destroyed in a single greedy move. Shame on you.

Quality switches to 360 when tab inactive firefox. I watch Twitch in 1080p. When I switch to another tab and then return, the quality drops to 360p and then automatically goes back to 1080p.

I set my search engine as DuckDuckgo for privacy some time ago. I deleted Bing and others from the list of browsers as well. I made some effort to set up Firefox and my computer in general as privately oriented as possible without breaking things. I come on Firefox today and see Google has been set as me default search engine again, the other search engines are back in my list and Duckduckgo sitting on the back bench. I seem to be in the battle with Windows as well. I shut off unnecessary data transfer like customer satisfaction BS and they return like a bad rash. I am no tech whiz but I put a lot of work into my privacy only to have it reversed. What do I do?

Sites like NBC and USAToday tell me to disable Adblock Plus. After I do this, I hit refresh. These sites still say ABP is active and to disable it. This does not happen in Chrome.

I clicked the Facebook homepage shortcut instead of using my regular bookmark. The page eventually loaded to the login screen, which then led to a Captcha verification screen, and another, and another, etc., until I got back to the login. Whew! Okay. No, not okay, it prompted me to get a verification code by email. I entered the code to log in. It started again. Then again. Cleared cache, etc, restarted browser, all the usual, didn't help. I had to leave for work.

When I got home, I restarted my computer and reset the modem. I removed the homepage shortcuts. Used my regular Facebook bookmark and logged in. Why did this happen? I am now terrified of the Homepage Shortcuts! 🤡💀
