I am a new convert from Chrome to Firefox and have been using OneTab to keep a list of current tabs. I recently started using Firefox TabGroups to create groups to store the tabs I open the most often. After a reboot, however, all 4 of the TabGroups I created yesterday are completely gone today. As I have a water-cooled system, and don't leave my computer on overnight out of best practices, I need to be able to shut down at the end of day and come back the following day and be able to use the same TabGroups.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

I know there's a workaround, but that's beside the point. You don't break into someones home in order to re-organize it, that's just bad practice all around.

I run FF on a Windows desktop. I have 5 pinned tabs and one tab group. Today when I opened FF all of these had disappeared. This has happened before, so I have a screenshot of the 5 tabs and can restore those, but I didn't make one of the tab group (given that the whole point of it was to SAVE the tabs), and unfortunately those were the result of a lot of time spent researching.

Is there something I can to do make sure these tabs all actually get saved from one session to the next? This unreliability of FF wastes a lot of time and starts me thinking about going back to Chrome which at least has the virtue of more stability. What is the point of all these features (I was really happy when you created the tab groups) if I can't rely on them?

Firefox recently started "eating" my tabs: closing them without my permission. There are several tabs I want to keep open at all times, because I refer to them from time to time throughout the day, but Firefox closes them from time to time. I googled the issue and the AI directed me to two settings: browser.tabs.unloadOnLowMemory and browser.tabs.min_inactive_duration_before_unload. It suggested setting the first one to "false" and increasing the duration of the second, or setting it to "false." However, the setting will only accept numeric values.

Since I am not having low memory issues, I want Firefox to leave my tabs alone. Is there any way to actually do this? If not, it would be really nice if Firefox developers reversed this intrusive change.

Thank you, Terry
