Today's update (version 154.0, 18 Aug 2026), degraded the appearance of a bookmark menu that contains both left-to-right and right-to-left text.

I have bookmarks in both English and Hebrew text. When a bookmark menu contains both kinds, all of them used to be left-aligned, which made for a tight, easy-to-read. menu. But as of this version, the R2L text is right-aligned, so if the whole menu is a bit wide, there is a lot of empty space. See screenshot.

Also, the next-to-last line in the screenshot, the numbers to the LEFT of the text, not right.

Pri vytvorení adresára v lište s odkazmi na web stránky sa adresár vytvorí na konci zoznamu. 1, nieje spôsob ako určiť poradie v zozname kde sú adresáre aj odkazy. Adresáre by sa mali automaticky radiť ako v stromovej štruktúre pc teda prve v poradí a za nimi voľné odkazy na weby. Adresáre majú nadradenú funkciu.Tvoria skupinu pre odkazy na stránky s podobným obsahom. Preto by mali byť pri vytvorení adresára radené na začiatok zoznamu a nie na konci. Pri 1000 odkazoch na stránky je to dlhý zoznam kým ho nájdem na konci aby som urobil drag and drop a preniesol na lištu z odkazmi do viditeľnej časti na browseri. Môže to niekto opraviť? Táto možnosť radenia adresárov nieje. Iba radenie odkazov podľa abecedy v zozname alebo iné možnosti na jednej úrovni pre všetky súbory. Ocenil by som radenie podľa typu teda adresáre spolu a odkazy spolu,či budú na začiatku alebo na konci teda poradie, a možnosť abecedného radenia pri zachovaní Typu súborov. Adresáre by mohli mať aj priradenú farbu. Ďakujem

When Firefox was updated recently, my bookmarks toolbar had changed quite a bit. I need to know how to restore my Other Bookmarks list to be arranged in alphabetical order

My bookmark toolbar totally lost all the bookmarks I had on it. It has some bookmarks that I have never marked to be on the toolbar now. How can I retrieve the bookmarks back to my tool bar? I went back to last week and that didn't help.

When I bookmark a website and select edit, it does not show my created bookmarks to save too, nor can I move existing bookmarks to created folders, why not? I have to create a folder, then select all my existing important bookmarks and save them to the created folder. I can not later add any saved bookmarks to the created folder, why not? The Beta version has the same issue. Please make a change to allow for bookmark saving or moving to created folders. Thank you.

I realized that all the bookmarks I had saved for years are now missing when I search using the browser. I did find them in other locations, but how can I see specific bookmarks that are missing?

So i have bookmarks i don't need anymore and when i click on the ones i want to delete i cant remove it... and so I googled how to remove it and this showed up and you delete everything maybe? Cause i need to bookmark stuff i need to see and use just help me please I'm begging you please.

I'm getting the following error message:

The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem.

I don't know what prompted this concern on my Windows 11-based laptop, but I only noticed this last night doing some research for another issue. I don't have any of my bookmarks showing up in the bookmarks section, nor will it allow me to click the star on any tab to bookmark the page. I have restarted and shut down my laptop several times and this is not solving the concern. Let me know if you need more information or if I need to start this inquiry again elsewhere, but again it sounds like the same concern.

I have included a screenshot of the exact error for accuracy's sake. Like everyone else here, I'm trying to get my bookmark and history access back up and running but not sure how to go about it.

I couldn't get past the first fix suggestion because I am not sure how to restart Firefox (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-bookmarks-and-history-will-not-be-functional?as=u&utm_source=inproduct&redirectslug=The+bookmarks+and+history+system+will+not+be+functional&redirectlocale=en-US). I have restarted my laptop several times but the issue still persists.

Please advise.

Ironically, I am not having this issue on my older PC that is still operating on Windows 10. I can view history and access or add bookmarks with no concern to my knowledge.
