I have been archiving my e-mails for decades. Every two years or so I archive the inbox and outbox. With my main box getting a bit old in the tooth.I followed the usual transfer protocol (copy /paste) to move the profile over. Everything went over fine except for the passwords.

Transferring all apps and programs will take some time so still using the desktop as my main box.

Today I logged on to the desktop

All passwords to the 5 accounts are gone All archived folders are gone My oldest e-mails are February 2021. The font and view has changed.

Desktop is using 115.18.0 (64-bit)

I have never set up any syncing ... Have not used Thunderbird on the new laptop

Any hope of recovery here ?

Whenever i click install theme, it seems to just load indefinitely and doesnt actually download it. It just gets stuck as shown in the image, with it sliding back and forth.

Hi! I have been using Thunderbird on 2 laptops for years. Both these laptops allowed me to setup 2 accounts :

user1@mydomain.com user2@mydomain.com

both are hosted by ionos.com. The server setup is imap.ionos.com

When I went to install Thunderbird on my new Windows 11 laptop, it is too cool for school. Tries to be too cute. I got user1@mydomain.com set up and working, but it won't let me setup user2. If I go through several unnatural acts to get past the "helpfulness", it complains

that the inbound server is already setup.

I can't help, but conclude there is a bug or two in the latest account setup.

Any assistance getting around it would be greatly appreciated. If there is a file I can export from the laptops that work and import on the new laptop, that would be nice.

My old computer crashed. I bought a new computer and installed Thunderbird. My files were backed up on Dropbox so I downloaded them and set up my new new install just as I had it on my old computer. Now, Thunderbird will not download new messages. The error message says my disk is full (impossible) and that I need to delete old messages or compact folders. Anyone know what is wrong with my new install?

Since a few weeks I have been encountering an issue where tabs in Firefox would frequently crash. I do have various add-ons installed, however I haven't installed any new ones around the time the issue has been occurring. I've been unable to track down which add-on or if any add-on might be causing this.

Trying to search for this issue all I could come up with is that it might be an issue of a faulty CPU. I have an i9-13900KF which has been known to be part of the Intel generation with serious flaws. However I already installed a BIOS update and applied Intel's recommended settings to undervolt the CPU to prevent any issues. This was well before the Firefox tab crashing issue happened. So I'm not sure if it can really be the issue of a faulty CPU, but I've also had issues of other programs randomly crashing recently (like Discord or Steam).

The tab crash can occur on any website, for example Youtube, Duckduckgo, Protonmail, etc. The crash reason always is either "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ" or just "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION". The crash also most of the time (but not always) occurs when loading the page itself or a video / live stream on it. But not when browsing an already loaded page (for example this forum post page I'm writing right now).

I have a remote job that requires me to swiftly do online searches and send emails. Firefox is my preferred browser, but sadly I notice that it tends to sometimes be slow in loading pages. Any ideas for how I can improve it, or how Firefox can improve its performance on my machine? Here's info to help you troubleshoot:

--I always download the most recent Firefox updates when prompted. --My machine is a Lenovo with a lot of memory running on Windows 11 (I think), so the machine itself runs really fast on other browsers, such as Google Chrome. --Firefox seems to be slowest in the afternoon, which puzzled me. --I'm connected to the internet via high-speed cable, not slow WiFi.

I lost power due to the power company changing my meter and firefox probably updated while I was working. I come back, 16 years worth of bookmarks are gone, my quick click tiles are gone my browser history is gone too. I don't know how to get it all back.

But on my other pc the only stuff gone is from the past month of two. I specifically made a firefox account to AVOID something like this and it happened anyway!

I entered a word into (Macintosh) Thunderbird's search box and it displayed 47 messages that contain text matching that word. I deleted the word from the search box and it still only displays those 47 messages. These are from three email accounts that I have, and all messages are displayed when I select any of those three individually. I did the search for messages in the Unified Folders inbox, and it is that inbox that only displays 47 messages.

I did an online search for what to do about this and the advice I got was to quit and restart Thunderbird, which didn't work, and to run the Tools->Search Tools->Rebuild Global Database command, but my version of Thunderbird doesn't have a command named Search Tools in its Tools menu. What else can I do?

Firefox version is 142.0.1, and is reported as up to date. MacOS Sequoia. Page Info. Camera permission I am unable to manually uncheck the default Always ask which is required before being able to check the Allow toggle.

I have asked this question before and followed ALL recommendations to no avail. I received no other suggestions to now, nearly a year later I am asking this question again. I am running a fully updated Windows 11 computer. I have 4 fully up to date browsers; Vivaldi 7.5.3735.66 (Stable channel) (64-bit); EDGE Version 139.0.3405.125 (Official build) (64-bit); DuckDuckGo version 0.126.3; and Firefox 142.01. I play Bejeweled Blitz on FaceBook. The game works perfectly on all browsers EXCEPT Firefox. When I try to play on Firefox I get a message that says I must "upgrade to the latest version of Flash:. There is NO flash anymore. Why am I getting this message on Firefox but the game works just fine on all other browsers?

I cannot log in to iCloud.com, even after setting a popup block exception. When I click on the "go" arrow after entering password, I get a notice on my iPhone to allow access. After I approve, I get a 6-digit verification code on the iPhone. But no popup window appears on the Firefox tab, so I can enter the code. Any suggestions?

My Thunderbird email is frozen up. Pop-up says "Login to server pop.suddenlink.net with username................failed.

           Retry          Enter New Password         Cancel"

It won't allow me do anything. I desperately need to talk on phone with someone with Thunderbird, but can't access any info. A support telephone number is needed badly.

Please help me. I am really in a bind. There are 4 days of email on the server and growing fast.
