"Import" bookmarks (e.g. from Safari) disappeared for the latest version of Firefox. How do I do it?

I'm using 8.0.1 Firefox and OS 10.6.8 in my Mac Pro. I've been using Firefox's import function for years. I've tried reinstalling Firefox (& first dumping Firefox and its Application Support file). I'm also using Ghostery and Norton.

Thanks, but this apparently this only works with PCs.

I did figure out what to do however: (1) Choose "Show All Bookmarks". (2) Click on the strange, rightmost, star-shaped icon at the top left of the Library window. (3) Select "Import Data from Another Browser"

Thanks again.

Hi James_Huff,

Are you saying that don't have an import option anymore? Take a look at this article. It will show you were to find the import button.

Hope this helps!
