Some FF desktop notifications persist in the MacOS Notification Center (the sidebar you access by swiping in from the right), like Google Calendar and 1Password. But Gmail notification banners do not, and they are only displayed for a few seconds, making it very hard to click them quickly before they disappear. I have looked in Gmail settings to control persistence but that is not an available option. FF notifications do not include a persistence option for notifications either.

This occurred while using MacOS Big Sur on an Intel Macbook Pro 2019 and Monterrey on a M1 Macbook Pro 2021
