I turned on my computer, opened FireFox and my scrapbook add-on was gone. I had 100's of extremely important sites saved. Is there anyway to recover them?

I had over 100's of sites saved for my business. I had an update popping up that said "you might lose certain add-ons", so I never updated. I shut my computer down and when I truned it back on and opened the Firefox browser, Everything I've been researching the last 6 months were gone. Can anyone help? this could be devastating to the future of my business. Thanks!

You didn't lose your add-on, it has just been Disabled because it is not Compatible with the latest version of Firefox that you are using now.

Try using this extension to Force Compatibility. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-on-compatibility-reporter/

If Force Compatibility add-on works, immediately make a Backup of your sites by using Firefox Bookmarks feature.

If Force Compatibility add-on does not work, then you can Downgrade to the previous version of Firefox that you were using.

Check and tell which solution works.

Wow It Worked. Thank You so much! That would have destroyed 7 months of research for my business! I downgraded to an older version then I updated scrapbook and upgraded back to the new version of Firefox and it worked like a charm. I'm going to back it up with bookmark Asap!

Would you know if there are any other ways I can back them up???

Once again, Thanks!!!!!!

One more quick question. It doesn't say how to actually transfer everything from scrapbook to bookmarks. Does it have to been done individually? There's no mention of scrapbook .

Try to find an option in Scrapbook add-on to Save/Export the sites to an HTML file or any other format provided by Scrapbook add-on on your computer. Then you can import that file from any web browser.
