I had two e-mail accounts and dropped one but thunderbird still shows both. I cleaned out all the folders now how do I get rid of all the folders. I tried to right click and delete but no go. Help!

Right click on a mail account in Folder Pane and select 'Settings'

  • Choose the mail account you want to delete.
  • click on 'Account Actions'
  • select 'Remove Account'
  • click on OK
