Thunderbird is not able to find my profile
HI,
I used my Thunderbird protable on friday - all perfect. Saturday I started TB and it asked me if I want to creat a new email address!? Emails, addresses,... all gone.
I did try these things: Restarting TB, restarting the Laptop, unplugging and replugging the external harddrive (which holds the protable TB), installing/updating the old TB via download from the HP protablapps.com --> no changes.... :-(
I do have quite some folders and files in the profile folder: ThunderbirdPortable/data/profile
Any idea on what I could do to fix the problem?????

Portable Apps supports their software. You might ask them.
This is the documentation for a lost profile in Thunderbird but I do not know if it works with the portable version. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Recovering_a_profile_that_suddenly_disappeared
