On my Android phone, I sm not able to select Firefox as a search engine in the list of available search engines in the drop down box because it is not listed. Why is this and how can I get it listed as a choice? I have Firefox installed and an account created. I am not sure exactly what the problem is. Thanks

Hello! I appreciate many niceties of the 148 update, but i'm having an issue resulting in many more tabs on Android mobile than I usually generate. When I search something and then want to sesrch the same query again using a different search engine (by selecting a different search engine from the tab bar menu) a new tab opens, leaving the query via the previous search engine open, and the current query of the current search engine in a new tab with focus. I'm aware that this behavior can be modified on desktop, but there is no such setting for android.

I would really love for this behavior to be reverted or optional, as it's made it so I need to clear out many tabs of duplicate queries (on different sesrch engines) and it makes me avoid using the built-in search engine switcher to prevent generating more tabs :( (which sucks because I have like 10+ custom searches and they're very useful!)

Hello, It's very annoying that when I type a word or a sentence into the search bar, the only option I have is to delete what I've written. There aren't any other options available, like "go" button, I have to use my keybord for that. Cheers!

Something wrong it's happening since the last update. When typing a word in the Google search bar it adds random letters. For example if I'm trying to type Mozi(lla) I get "mozizo". My keyboard is working fine with other apps, I switched to another keyboard and the glitch persists

I want to make Brave my default search engine. I think i added the extension but its not on the list. Also I tried putting the url in at the add search engine page in settings. Thanks so much

Every time I try to use the firefox search bar it redirects to my google search bar. I downloaded firefox because I was tired of Google and wanted something different. Is there not a firefox search bar or am I doing something wrong?

Ask AI isn't optimized for firefox. Query box text isn't cleared after text submission. Also occasionally scrolls to the bottom where I have to scroll back up to read it's response.
