Everytime I open firefox, a small window opens that tells me "Update available Download the latest version of firefox, Download or Dismiss". Hitting download saves the update for ver 151.0.4 to my harddrive. I have several of these files because of all the times I've updated forgetting that its already been updated to 151.0.4!

Why do you keep asking me to upgrade when I already did?

To get here I went to "mozilla support" and I clicked the box requesting you send me an email when someone replies to this. This "someone" implies that this person is part of your "community" not a mozilla employee, which is what "mozilla support" implies. After taking my time to follow your vague directives, I dont expect to get any help from you but I am hopeful.

I tried adding images which took me away from this page and when I tried coming back to this page, everything I typed was gone so I had to start over. So I'm not going to click on "share data" for the fear the same thing will happen. Thanks for that

I have recently discovered that Firefox is constantly sending data at around 3KBytes/S to a variety of Cloudflare servers.

What is the data that is being sent and why is this happening?

This has started to occur in one of the last updates to Firefox.

Does this constitute a privacy violation, what is the data that is being sent?

There was nothing wrong everything was running perfect and smooth but then out of nowhere my youtube froze and I couldn't press anything on youtube tab, I could still close it or press the buttons on the sides/corners but on the youtube, it also doesn't refresh, this only happens on youtube and only on firefox when on other browsers, yes I unchecked hardware acceleration, I restarted my firefox many times, I cleared the cache, today I turned my adblockers too, i thought it turned into how it was before but then it froze again and now I couldn't even see youtube it was just black screen on that tab, like what do I do here, do I switch browsers? It eventually starts playing again after I wait for some minutes but I don't want that, I want it to work like how it did before this happened. Why did it even happen?!

I am trying to use the free VPN in my browser. I have requested IPs in multiple countries and so far all work except the U.S. When I request a U.S. IP address a check shows I am in Chile. When I travel I need a U.S. IP address. What is the issue there?

Hallo Firefox Community, ich habe seit 2 Wochen das Problem, dass ich mich mit Firefox nicht mehr auf bestimmten Seiten einloggen kann bzw. die Seiten sich bei der Anmeldung nicht mehr laden. Z.B. bei Klarna komme ich nicht mehr in meinen Account. Mein PC läuft mit Win7 Prof. SP1, das letzte Update von Mozilla lautet: Firefox 115.36.0esr (20260514164700) Details Installiert am: 20. Mai 2026 um 13:41:44 Status: Das Update wurde erfolgreich installiert

Hoffe hier hat jemand eine Erklärung dafür. Ich bin auf mein Firefox angewiesen, verwende den Browser schon eine halbe Ewigkeit. Möchte ungern auf einen anderen Browser wechseln.

When opening a new page in Firefox I am shown a few widgets.

It shows the time of sports events and different timezones. But it shows this in a non-local time format - the 12 hour format (so it says 06:00 PM instead of 18:00).

In about:config I found a setting called "browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.widgets.clocks.hourFormat" but what are the acceptable formats to use here? It's not a boolean value, and by default nothing is there. I tried writing 24, HH:mm, and some other things, but didn't notice a difference.

I use eBird extensively. When I try to play the audio (with sonograms), I get a message that says "We are still processing this file. Try again later". These files perform well on my Android phone, so I know it it is not eBird's glitch. I am confused about the setting options on Firefox that I need to set. These files are usually .wav format. I have tried to open a ticket with eBird, but have not had a response. Can you guide me? Thanks.

My FFox browser has been invaded by PINK EVERYWHERE Get rid of it in the browser. The suggestions do not seem to do anything to get rid of this horrible color. TFFox 151.0.2 64

Black and white works fine in Menu Bar and web addresses when you finally get your act together.

Hi, I enabled the included Firefox VPN, but it only allows you to choose an entire country, and not very accurately or reliably. The help pages direct me to use Mozilla VPN to do that, so I enabled it, only to be told it's only available on Windows. How can I set my location to something else for a website on a Mac? Thanks.

When I go to pay on a website, firefox offers as options the various credit cards I've saved. But when I click on one, it disappears and then I need to fill it in manually.

While I have your attention, when my address auto-populates, it does so, highlighted in yellow. If I manually add and then delete a space, it drops the yellow highlight. If I don't, websites often don't recognize the address. How come?
