In the previous version of Firefox, there was a location to save current tabs in the "Home" section is that still available? Where is it?

I've attached a photo of the current page, and there does not appear to be a "save current tabs" option

When adding tabs to a tab group, are the tabs moved or copied into the group?

I have many different interests. I also have hundreds of tabs. I would like the tabs in a group not appear on the open tabs line. I also want selecting a tab group to replace the default open tabs line.

I have added new tab groups but when I try to add new tabs only 4 or 5 of 7 are listed for adding tabs. I can find and open them from the down arrow menu for tabs, but again, they aren't listed as an open tab to add to.

my laptop was on the internet but nothing would load so i restarted it and my windows always auto open and it did but my tabs were empty,not like when you open a new window i mean full empty so a restarted again and i could load tabs but my window was not in recently closed

I've been using "tab groups" for a while but then suddenly my tabs' groups that I just had saved just disappeared, when I had a lot of them of my pending activities. I don't know why it happens, please help me to figure that out cause I had a lot of information that I didn't save on bookmarks. Like I just showed in the uploaded image, I just could restore 1 group tabs because my firefox and laptop turned off and I had that group open before it turned off, so firefox notified me that there was an error and I cannot have all my information again, but at least let me restore my last session, that why I could recover One TAB GROUP

I love vertical the tab view. Unfortunately, on one of my systems, vertical tabs to not render correctly. Groups are shown, but there are no favicons or titles shown (see attached image). The tabs are also not clickable. Any insight into how I could debug that would be amazing!

I had about 15 pinned tabs - unloaded - that I was saving for a research project. I shut my PC down and when powered up for the next session - all the pinned tabs were gone. I never thought to record the tabs via screen shot or something.

Is this normal - what are the limits of pinned tabs ? Do they expire in a day ? When the PC powers down ? When Firefox updates ?

Exactly what are the limits or boundaries for pinned tabs ?

I want to see all my open tabs all of the time... firefox keeps showing full screen, I don't want that... how do I reset settings using windows 11, logi keyboard HELP!

Swiping left with two fingers is the same as going back, but I keep doing it accidentally. I thought there was a setting for it, but I can not find it now. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

I tend to have a lot of tabs open at a time and even with the Customize Sidebar > Hide tabs and sidebar checkbox ticked, it is still distracting at times. Could you please help me find a setting/way so that I can hide it and make it re-appear when I hover on it only. Kinda like how we have on windows taskbar? Much appreciated.

I really love Firefox’s new Split View feature. The Alt + Click shortcut to create vertical split pages works perfectly and greatly improves my multitasking workflow for side-by-side tab comparison. However, there is currently no native keyboard shortcut to cancel / exit Split View and separate tabs without closing either page. To undo split view, users have to rely entirely on mouse operations: right-click tabs or click the divider menu. This breaks keyboard-first browsing efficiency and creates unnecessary extra clicks every time I finish comparing pages.

Feature Request

Please add a dedicated built-in shortcut to quickly separate tabs and close Split View. A simple key like Esc or a custom combination such as Ctrl+Shift+Alt+X or something would be ideal, matching the convenient Alt+Click way to trigger split view.

In the past, when I would click on a link on my home page, the link would open in a new tab, but I would stay on my home page so that I could look at the opened link later. Now when I click on a link on my home page, it doesn’t open in a new tab, but rather opens the link in the same tab that I was viewing my home page on. I have checked my settings, and everything appears to be how I want it. I believe that the "Open links from apps next to your active tab" is the setting that should accomplish what I want. I do have it checked, and yet it won't open my links in a new tab. How do I get links to open in a new tab?

Why FF is resetting all tabs during an update, like the last one? The tabs cannot be restored automatically. It does not happen with each update...but it's annoying when you have several tabs. Thanks for taking that into account. Yves

We have noticed that none of our tabs are saved in Firefox anymore, and the settings require a specific number of saved tabs, which can vary from one session to the next.

Please allow users to select which tabs to save. For instance, a check box ☑ system would be very helpful.

Hello, I've been using Firefox for several years because of all browsers it's the only one (I know of) that has a setting whether to open links in new tab or in new window. I want them opening in tabs. This has been quite alright until last week when I was suddenly shown a message that I was using an old Firefox version and was forced to create a new profile. I did that but ever since then links keep opening in new windows - even though I have found the relevant setting and ticked the box "Open links in tabs instead of new windows". With or without the box ticked, the only way to open links in new tabs is to simultaneously hold Cttrl and click on the link. I've tried all variations of this box and the next two, but no luck. This is really important for me. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

After the last Firefox update, the "Open previous windows and tabs" setting stopped working, and I need to use the shortcut "Ctrl+Shift+T" after each start to restore the previous tabs.

Is there any solution for this problem or there is a way to downgrade to a version where "Open previous windows and tabs" works correctly?

My current version is 152.0.1 (64-bit).

Hello everyone, Until a few days ago, Firefox version 140.12.0esr included a button to "Save windows and tabs of the current! session." Unfortunately, this feature is no longer available in the current version, 152.0.1. However, for many Firefox users, saving the windows and tabs of the current! session is absolutely essential. What options are there now to resolve this issue? I would appreciate any suggestions! If there is no way to restore this feature, I, too, will unfortunately have to switch browsers after 20 years as a Firefox user. Many thanks in advance for your help and any information. Tab group name's width get maximized after dragging it to other place. Please refer to the third tab group from the image. If I restart the browser, the width become normal until I drag n drop it again.
