Every time Firefox (on Windows desktop) updates it loses all passwords. I am able to recover them by syncing from my Firefox Android. Surely, there is a better solution than that. Is there a way to protect the passwords in a file or is there a Firefox setting that needs to be changed?

I use Proton Pass and sometimes it pops up and sometimes not. Extension is installed. But Firefox pops up to manage password while it is not activated. See image. What can I do to have reliable Proton Pass. Thanks

So, now I've followed your previous advice and reset my password. I've gotten into my Firefox account, which is nice. I've set a Passkey and a Recovery Key. Your site suggests saving the Recovery Key in a Password Manager. So, I downloaded it to do so. But, your browser won't save the pdf that it downloaded! It wants a csv file. What do I do now? Other than write it down, which I've already done, but, that didn't work last time. Both my password and my passkey were unrecognized, which is what got me here and now.

My macbook ran aFirefox update, when i opened the application, my history, bookmarks and passwords were missing. I was able to locate the previous profile from the previous version of Firefox which I used to restore the bookmarks. But for some reason my passwords are still missing. On the old profile folder (backed up one) I can see the logins.json and Key4.db files which I copied to my current Firefox profile folder but im still not able to access my passwords and autofills. Please assist.

After the last upate on browser all password disappear. I can`t to create new password and browser don`t ask me to remember password. How to restore my password? It`s don`t synchronysed with browser on the other device!!!

I couldn't see password management page. To be specific, I click the "password" option in the top right corner lists. Normally it will show all the website that firefox saved, but now I couldn't see anything except frame. I will upload the interfance that I see. this problem happend since an update. And problem contines after several patches. The firefox version that I use is "153.0.3(64-bit)" please help!

How to recreate issue: 1. Copy password from an entry on about:logins on Firefox desktop app (Windows 11) 2. Open Windows 11 clipboard history (Win. Key + V) 3. Password is not listed in clipboard history 4. Password CAN be pasted within Firefox browser (including separate window) and separate applications 5. Copying another piece of information overwrites the item like normal a typical clipboard tool is supposed to work; you just have to copy it again if you need it again instead of opening Clipboard History.

What it affects: - Copying and pasting multiple passwords to a document, other password manager, or etc. is simply more cumbersome. - When managing multiple logins for the moment, it's easy to get confused (Is the password I just pasted for this login, or the last one?)

Obviously this isn't a big deal, and I am more so wondering if it's a bug or if it's meant to be restricted in such a way to increase security or something.

Hello! I'm working on migrating a very old version of Firefox to a newer version, and the number one thing I want to make sure stays is the logins file(s). I went to export the CSV, and the `about:logins` page is blank! Despite this, both the key and logins files are populated, and the browser still autofills in each login as if it wasn't there. To mitigate this, I tried to export the .csv of all my logins, but it doesn't actually export. I'm not sure how to check action logs with Firefox, and I would like to grab the passwords, so I can migrate properly. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
