Firefox keeps crashing/hanging on startup. Any other browser I use is fine. Been using Firefox for years and would like to keep using it. This has been going on since August, so I have not really been using it since then. Tried all the troubleshoot steps that Mozilla recommends but still crashing e.g reinstall, fresh install.

i have tried multiple extent ions to disable ai in the search box on Firefox an nothing works i still get ai. Again why does everyone think ai is so great. why again are people not given a choice like do you want or not want ai. HATE AI IN SAMSUNG GEMINI AND GOOGLE do not want ai anywhere ion my computer or i phone and please let me know if there is an addon or extensions in Firefox to not see it in my searches in google searches

The keyboard straight up doesn't show up when I tap on writable spaces. Like this support page, twitch or other chats, search boxes on Ddg or Google, or many other sites with writable boxes. Sometimes the keyboard will show up but won't actually let me write anything, and won't go away with normal means. When I try to close it, it just goes back a page and the keyboard stays on the screen not functioning. It's quite annoying and won't let me do what I want. I wrote this in a notepad app and copy paste it, 'cuz it won't let me write anything on the support page.

Hi; I use Firefox on my phone and my laptop both. In my laptop (Lecoo pro 14, Ubuntu 26.04) in a domain range browser gives me security alarm and don't let me get in. This is normal but when I use other browser in my laptop or Firefox on my phone (s25 ultra) there is no problem at all and it works well! I tried all things. run commands like: sudo snap remove --purge firefox | sudo snap install firefox, sudo apt search firefox/mozilla and than reinstall all installed packages and clear all caches on settings. But none of them worked. Thanks for your responsibility and making such great open-source app.

I have had Refdesk.com as my home page for years. Firefox has now decided that it cannot find that site. Please help

Not a question just feedback but the new UI you made for the browser in the new update looks really bad and really sucks I don't know why or what anyone was thinking designing it. The blocky styles were fine before not gonna lie. :/

Hello, I am having an issue that Emails which are displayed in the reading area disapper for appr. 2 minutes. Afterwards they appear again. I have not been able to find out if this is a problem in Thunderbird, or if another application is causing this. I have read an article that Avast Antivirus is temporarily locking folders during scan. Maybe someone has had the same topic and can give me a hint where to search for the root cause. Thank you.

Thunderbird (157.0.1 (64-bit)) write toolbar missing.

All things are correctly configured, as mentioned in this article, and nothing is working in making the Write (Compose) Formatting toolbar appear again.

Everything is set to compose in HTML format and the keyboard commands mentioned in other articles and so forth do nothing.

Is is perhaps a corrupted profile setting file somewhere? Is there a Config Editor setting that needs to/can be changed ?

Hi there I have been using Thunderbird for many years to manage the same many mail accounts on diverse PCs. I prefer using a portable version from portableapps.com, partly because when it comes to transferring to another gadget, it suffices just moving the portable folder, and I do not have to create dozens of accounts in a fresh install. Of late, I have been getting frequent irritating error messages for 2 Yahoo accounts. It connects to them & I can receive mail, but for automatic connections to the server in between, I keep getting error messages like: The current operation on 'inbox' did not succeed.' The mail account to abc@yahoo.com responded: p.', ... etc The other day, after reading about possible solutions from some forums, I decided to just delete both accounts and used the recommended Thunderbird connection settings for Yahoo to create the 2 accounts anew. I thought the problem was solved, only to have the same alerts every now & then reappearing, which amounts to a lot, if you have Thunderbird on many hours a day. I consistently update Thunderbird, the moment I'm alerted to a new version. I also have Gmail, Outlook, AOL(AIM) & other accounts, but not get similar issues. How do I permanently solve this problem?
